We are looking for an outstanding leader to join our team as divisional director of people. Reporting to the Director of Workforce, you will be part of the senior people and OD team and responsible for leading the people agenda within one cluster of clinical and corporate divisions. Main duties of the job
The Divisional Director of People (DDP) will be the P&OD lead responsible for the delivery of a full range of professional HR and organisational development services to a clinical division and a cluster of corporate divisions. They ensure the highest standards of employee engagement along with optimal workforce efficiency and effectiveness.
Reporting to the Director of Workforce, you will be a key member of the senior People & OD team. You will also provide strategic and trust-wide leadership in one of the following areas, employee relations, pay or equality diversity and inclusion.
As a highly visible, local, leader for the People agenda, the DDP will act as the strategic partner to their divisional leadership team to shape local strategies to meet business and service needs. They will ensure the consistent application of the agreed People strategy, policies and processes.
The DDP will also act as the local account director for all services supplied to their divisional cluster by the P&OD function, thereby commissioning those services, accounting for them to local stakeholders and addressing issues for improvement and resolution.
The DDP will be responsible for leading the workforce component of any transformation programmes within their divisional clusters.
