Job summary

Imperial College NHS Trust created a Transformation team in 2019, with Executive Director Leadership, to act as the Trust's strategic change function. The portfolio of the team covers programmes and projects that support the Trust to deliver on its strategic objectives in a sustainable way.

This post is a new role and is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is an expert in their field of analytics and wants to direct their skills to support cross-organisational and system transformation. Our aims for this role is to help the organisation to convert its mass of data and information into intelligence that will drive transformation in the way services and pathways are delivered that will improve quality of care, access and use of its resources.

This is a key role in the team, reporting professionally and operationally to the Associate Director of Transformation. We are open to and welcome applications from senior professionals from diverse backgrounds including from industries outside of the healthcare and the National Health Service.

We will support the successful candidate with some up-front training on our Transformation approach, and they will be supported as they develop on the job experience as the lead for all diagnostic phases of our projects. We also expect to learn from the successful candidate key knowledge and insights they bring from their role, background and experience.

Main duties of the job

  • Planning, execution and communication of complex data analysis which will inform high level decision making regarding Transformation projects proposed or under way across the Trust.
  • Combining analytical thinking with understanding of real-world applications to help the Trust understand how they can utilise their data, or identify missing or novel data, to make data-driven decisions
  • Ensuring that high quality data is available, analysed and presented in a way that supports decision making, forging the gap between financial, business and transformation management.
  • Gather and analyse data to enable informed decision-making on projects and business cases, supporting an increased focus on the delivery of streamlined, efficient and high quality clinical and corporate services which are managed and benchmarked nationally and internationally.
