Job summary
Are you a Band 5 Registered Nurse who is looking to grow your career and experience in Pain Management? Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust's Pain Management Centre based at Charing Cross is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our outpatient pain clinic team. We are undergoing transformation processes and during this new and exciting journey we are looking to develop your interest and skills within our service. Primarily, you will be assisting in the daily management of week-day case procedures including theatre and recovery experience and helping to deliver bespoke clinics such as Qutenza (high dose capsaicin patch), Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS). We are also offering the opportunity to work within other Directorate teams (including theatre and perioperative care) to help develop your theatre, recovery and clinical service delivery skillset to care for a wide range of patients. Main duties of the job
- To participate in the smooth running of the pain service.
- To provide high quality, effective, individualised care to all patients attending the pain management clinic.
- To participate in the smooth running of the outpatient pain clinics and manage the day-case procedure lists.
