Job summary
An excellent opportunity has arisen on the Charing Cross site for an ambitious and forward thinking technician. We are looking for someone with exceptional leadership qualities who can motivate staff and work in conjunction with our dispensary services team across sites to manage and develop our dispensary and stores services on the Charing Cross site. The successful applicant will work closely with dispensary leads on the two other main sites. The post holder will also be a key member of the senior pharmacy team on the Charing Cross site.
Main duties of the job
To assist the Senior Lead Pharmacist in the provision of a high quality patient focused dispensing service to patients of the Trust, associated hospitals and community clinics.
To manage all technical functions of the dispensary and provide professional leadership to all technical dispensary staff.
To develop, train, motivate and encourage all staff working within the dispensary including (but not exclusively) pharmacists and technicians.

Essential
- Recognised pharmacy technicians qualification e.g. NVQ assessor (or equivalent qualification)
- Level 3 in Pharmacy Services
- Registered Technician with the GPhC
