An exciting opportunity has arisen at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust for a role as a Band 4 Mortuary Assistant, with the opportunity to train to become a Anatomical Pathology Technologist.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and reliable person with fantastic communication skills and a proactive approach to join our team in Mortuary Services.
The successful candidate will need to able to learn new skills and processes, experince in a mortuary/funeral home enviroment is prefered although not essential to the right candidate. The successful candidate will join the small but busy Mortuary Team.
The role is to provide a compassionate and customer focused high quality mortuary service in conformance with the relevant legislation, code of practice and guidance from local SOP's and the Human Tissue Authority.
The successful applicant will be expected to fulfill the requirements of the role as outlined in the attached job description.
Please note there is no car parking facilities available on site if successful in this role, you will need to be able to reach our hospitals by public transport. The current waiting list for a car parking permit for this trust is 2 years +
