This pivotal role is to lead and deliver the first phase of our approved business case for our Outpatients Transformation Programme, building and managing a dedicated team and, through this team, assuring delivery of change projects that significantly improve the outpatients service we provide to the population of NW London.
This role is set to be challenging but rewarding, as you will be there to oversee and ensure the implementation of key changes to improve and enhance our services for both our patients and our staff.
As the Programme Director of the Outpatients Transformation Programme you will work alongside our Divisional Director to deliver the following key aspects of this role:
- Establishment of the programme, identifying and managing all necessary resource and expertise (both internal & external).
- Providing check and challenge to the delivery of the programme
- Overseeing progress and development of projects, and ensuring that the organisation is able to fully exploit the new ways of working
- Providing leadership to managing interdependencies where required

Main duties of the job
- Lead the execution of a comprehensive strategy for digital optimisation of outpatient services across all clinical specialties, including CRM & process standardisation.
- Establish and manage the programme's structure, resources, and expert team.
- Drive the centralisation of Outpatient Administration services and implement omni-channel communications.
- Spearhead the Discovery and Design workstream for future programme phases.
- Foster robust relationships with key stakeholders, including executive directors, clinicians, and technology partners
The 'must haves' for this role:
- Proven track record as a successful programme director, programme manager or project manager
- Experience of managing change teams and multiple stakeholders through complex programme implementation.
- Experience of managing budgets for multiple projects.
- Proven ability to influence, persuade and bring about change across professional, internal and external boundaries and deliver the agreed results
