Job summary

The End of Life Care (EoLC) administrator is a key position within our new End of Life Care Education and Improvement Team. The administrator will report to the team lead and work closely with clinical lead for end of life care and the lead nurse. They will be responsible for supporting the team's education and improvement activity, through managing the office administration including team emails and diary, data collection and presentation (for example from the Datix System and LEARN), as well as keeping accurate meeting minutes for end of life care meetings, including the End of life care Steering Group.

Main duties of the job

  • To undertake the day to day running and supervision of the EoLC Clinical Education and Improvement Team administration / office
  • To be part of and contribute to end of life care education and improvement projects and administration
  • To administer the work on E-learning in relation to end of life care training
  • To administer the organisation of internal study days
  • To oversee the smooth running of the education training rooms, including ensuring that they are in good working order and secure
  • General office and administration duties
