Job summary
An exciting opportunity, has arisen for a self-motivated and forward thinking Imaging Operational Lead Radiographer, to join the Modality Leads' team. This post is at Charing Cross Hospital, which is a key leadership role and the successful candidate will be a role model for demonstrating our Trust's values through their leadership behaviours, working collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams and be committed to providing high quality patient care.
We are looking for a dedicated & experienced Radiographer with proven team leadership and communication skills, to be responsible for the operational management of Imaging services ensuring optimum use of staffing and equipment resources throughout the department in conjunction with the team of Modality Leads.
As part of the first Academic Health Science Centre our aim is to provide world-class healthcare to our patients through excellence in research, education and training. Imperial College NHS Healthcare Trust comprises of five hospitals - Charing Cross, Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea, Hammersmith, St Mary's and the Western Eye.
Main duties of the job
- To be responsible for the operational management of Imaging services ensuring optimum use of staffing and equipment resources throughout the department
- To contribute to the management and development of specialist services, ensuring optimum use of staffing and equipment resources
- To be responsible for the professional leadership of the radiography team providing a high quality patient focused service
- To maintain a sensitive and courteous approach to patients
- To develop and improve professional expertise via continuous professional development
- To ensure a safe working environment and maintenance of the Imaging equipment.
