Job summary

As a result, our Medical HR Team is in constant demand to appoint all grades of doctors including Consultants for a wide variety of specialties in addition to managing the large volume intakes for the training and research opportunities the Trust offers.

You will also manage the contractual changes for all grades of doctors; this involves processing new starters on to ESR as well as any other pay related changes such as promotions, department moves and leavers.

Previous experience of working with NHS Medical & Dental national terms and conditions is desirable.

This role relies on having a collaborative attitude and a willingness to work closely with colleagues within payroll, rota co-ordinators as well as our operational stakeholders to complete the end to end recruitment and on-boarding process.

Main duties of the job

  • Provide a high quality recruitment service in accordance with Trust policy and national guidelines
  • Coordinate and administrate the recruitment of medical staff for all grades (including arranging Advisory Appointments Committees for the recruitment of substantive Consultants)
  • Ensure all recruitment associated paperwork is of a high and accurate standard, complying with employment legislation, national guidelines and Trust procedures e.g. job descriptions, person specifications and adverts
