Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the neurosciences administration team based at Charing Cross Hospital as a Senior Administrator. The successful post holder will be primarily responsible for demonstrating a high standard of administrative support for the Neurosurgery Cranial consultants and helping to maintain an efficient cancer pathway and BrainFus service.
The successful candidate will be highly efficient and organised with an ability to prioritise and problem solve in a busy working environment. Communication is key for this role and it will be expected that the post holder can demonstrate an ability to communicate with patients and staff across all disciplines. Candidate should have knowledge of RTT national targets and pathways.
Main duties of the job
- To provide administrative and supervisory support for the BrainFUS service and to other services in Neurosciences as and when required. Must demonstrate a high level of communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with a wide range of NHS staff, patients and external agencies.
- Work as a key team member helping to meet national RTT targets
- Lead by example by providing guidance and support to the neurosurgery spine admin team
