Job summary

You will deliver a reliable, customer focused service, and the ideal candidate will have keen attention to detail, customer service orientated and will be committed to providing a first class service to managers and candidates.

You will supervise a small team to co-ordinate and administer the rotation of all medical staff joining the Trust. To prepare and issue all employment documents for new starter trainee doctors including appointment letters, work schedules and contracts of employment. Carry out the end to end recruitment process for all grades of non-training grade doctors. Provide HR advice to all grades of doctors who join the Trust including Locally Employed Doctors.

Main duties of the job

To ensure the Medical HR Administration team provide a comprehensive high quality, customer-focused service to all Divisions within the Trust.To be responsible for ensuring the Medical HR Officer and HR Administrator verify, enter, maintain and access accurately and timely information on the Trust's HR/Payroll System (ESR), ensuring it complies with Trust Policies, Medical & Dental Terms & Conditions of Service, Local agreements and Legal Regulations, and maintaining high standards and quality of information.Compliance reports e.g. GMC, Work Permit and relevant workforce reports are actioned in a timely manner in line with the Trust's KPIsSuccessful management of the monthly junior doctors' rotations administrationProvide advice on maternity leave and pay policy to medical staff.To advise on all aspects of the Medical & Dental Terms and Conditions ofService for all grades of doctors in particular the new junior doctors' contract.Provide expert advice to staff on all types of leave e.g. maternity, paternity leave in line with the Medical and Dental Terms and Conditions and Trust policies ensuring that the administration is done accurately and in a timely manner.Assist with managing requests from trainees wishing to train flexibly/less than full-time, obtaining the relevant approvals from HEE, Trust managers and Finance as appropriate, calculating pay for standard and out of hours work as per the proposed rota.
