An exciting opportunity has arisin within Imperial Private healthcare. We are looking for a highly motivated, passionate experienced individual to join the Clinical Practice Education team within Private Patients working across St Mary's Hospital; Charing Cross Hospital and Hammersmith Hospital. This is an ideal role for you if you are looking to take on a position of leadership to inspire, influence and coach others to deliver excellent care by creating an environment conducive for our staff in maximising their clinical skills and reaching their potential.
The candidate will impact on patient experience and outcome through developing a highly skilled, competent and educated workforce and be responsible for staff education within Imperial Private Healthcare.
The candidate must be committed to a high standard of patient care and safety and be willing to share and learn from incidents with a good understanding of governance and organisational priorities and challenges.
They will also have establishment self-management skills, team working,time management, prioritisation and organisational skills and will be responsible for developing evidence based educational material in delivering training all staff in an engaging and innovative way.
Main duties of the job
- Work closely with the line manager, lead nurse, immediate team, patients & relatives
- Supervisory responsibility for all staff involved in care delivery
- Develop good working relationships within the broader multidisciplinary team
- Represent Imperial Private Healthcare and participate in meetings, training sessions and agreed study forums both within and outside the Trust, which enhance personal and professional clinical standards
