Job summary
We are recruiting for an experienced Dermatology Nurse to apply for a senior position in the Dermatology Service at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
- The working hours are 9-5 Monday to Friday, day shifts only
The post-holder will manage the Dermatology Day Treatment Unit where patients are treated with Ultraviolet Phototherapy for a number of skin conditions.

The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, self- motivating and able to manage their own workload to ensure it fits the needs of the service. You will need to be well-organised, have excellent verbal and IT communication skills, flexible to meet the needs of the service, and able to support the other members of the team.
Main duties of the job
- Provide specialist nursing care and advice to support and facilitate high quality nursing care to patients/clients and relatives/carers without supervision in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team in line with local and national targets.
- The post-holder will manage the Dermatology Day Centre where patients are treated with Ultra-violet Therapy for a variety of conditions. This will involve line managing the staff in the unit and being responsible for its efficient day to day running.
- Be a clinical expert in dermatology nursing with excellent communication skills. To be flexible in the approach to the clinical area and to provide cover to any area specified, acting as a professional role model providing direct and indirect clinical care, teaching and research.
