Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity to appoint into the pivotal role of Department Business Administrator for Critical Care services. The Administrator role is key in supporting a large workforce with day to day functions such as rostering, booking and coordinating outpatient clinic appointmentsand minute taking. We are looking for a dynamic self-starter with excellent communication and organisation skills who will support our services whilst encompassing the Trust Values.

This role is primarily located at Charing Cross Hospital, however, cross site working may be required.

Main duties of the job

  • The post holder will provide a comprehensive and highly efficient administration and secretarial service to Senior Managers, Nursing and Medical colleagues within the Critical Care Service.
  • To communicate effectively with patients / carers regarding appointment and treatment related matters.
  • The potholder will be expected to work independently and manage and prioritise their workload, liaising closely with the wider administration team within the department
