Job summary
We currently have Band 5 vacancies in the Emergency Department at Charing CrossHospital. The department is an acute area seeing multiple patients of varying conditions.
We are proud of our recently renovated and expanded department. We welcome applications from Newly Qualified Nurses, Qualified Nurses looking to start a career in ED and to staff with previous experience in ED. We are fortunate to have a team of highly skilled senior nurses to support your development, including NurseConsultants, Emergency Practitioners and Practice Development Nurse. We are pleasedto have the opportunity to support staff with undertaking Qualification in Specialismmodule in Emergency Nursing along side our collegues from Kings College London andother local Emergency Departments. Imperial also offers nurses at all levels uniqueopportunities to be involved in large scale national research projects.
The post holder will be expected to work with staff to maintain standards in line with Trustand NMC guidelines. Flexible workingpatterns will be considered. You will in all aspects be supported by the Matron and SeniorSisters / Charge Nurses.

- To provide high quality, effective, individualised care to all patients that is compassionate and caring.
- To assess care needs and develop, implement and evaluate them without supervision
- To keep up to date with skills and knowledge
