Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and ambitious individual to join the West London Operational Delivery Network (ODN) which sits within the Hepatology department at St Marys Hospital.
We are seeking to recruit a Patient Pathway Coordinator on a Fixed Term contract or secondment for 12 months with a possibility of extension pending funding. This role will provide excellent patient pathway and administrative support and to assist in the delivery of a high quality service of the ODN and Hepatology department.
The key elements of this role are providing business management, coordination and support for all programme activities. The post holder will support the Clinical Leads and Programme Manager in the delivery of the strategic objectives for the WL ODN in relation to Hepatitis C and the widening portfolio of liver health.
The post holder is expected to work using a high degree of initiative and autonomy, being exceptionally motivated. The role requires excellent planning, organisational, written and verbal communication skills. Successful candidates will be competent in using the Microsoft Office Suite, be emotionally resilient with the ability to work under pressure, possess the ability to multi-task and to deliver conflicting priorities within set timelines.
The post holder will be primarily based at St Mary's Hospital, which has excellent transport links, but may be required to attend other locations across west London as required.
Main duties of the job
- Managing all of performance targets relevant to the ODN and continue the development of the service by regularly reviewing processes.
- Contribute to ongoing planning of projects, to ensure that the project deliverables are met within the duration of the project.
- Supervise any junior staff as appropriate and where relevant.
