Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Band 6 who wants to join our dynamic and diverse team within Douglas ward at St Mary's Hospital.

The successful candidates must have good decision making skills, enhance clinical experience with good managerial skills in managing and leading a busy Hepatology ward and acute medicine side rooms in delivering patient centered care within the framework of the multi-disciplinary team. Main duties of the job

We are committed to developing and supporting a modern career framework for our nurses on Douglas ward and you will be supported every step of your career pathway. Nurses are also exposed to managing patients with a higher acuity within the unit and as such we work closely with the Critical Care Outreach team, Hepatology team and the Medical High Dependency Unit.
