Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Dermatology Nurse to apply for a senior position in the Dermatology Service at Imperial College Healthcare Trust. The post-holder will manage the Dermatology Day Treatment Unit where patients are treated with Ultraviolet Phototherapy for a number of skin conditions.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will line manage the junior staff, including sickness management, appraisals and performance management, and also be responsible for the day to day running of the unit, this will entail liaising with other departments to ensure that adequate levels of supplies are provided and that all equipment is maintained.
A good understanding of a wide range of dermatology conditions and treatments is essential, as is the ability to teach and guide junior staff.
