Be a part of a close-knit team providing Chemotherapy and other aseptic products to support patients across North West London and beyond. Support clinical trials and assist with making cutting edge developments in treatments for the future, all whilst working to our high standards.

As a Pharmacy Assistant within Aseptics, you will have the chance to participate in the cleaning and preparation of the Aseptic Unit and its equipment and supplies ready for the compounding of sterile products in accordance with the principals of Good Manufacturing Practice. All whilst gaining valuable experience and expanding your pharmaceutical knowledge in cancer medicines and clinical trials.

Main duties of the job

  • To assist in the provision of a high quality aseptic pharmaceutical dispensing service to all users of the service
  • The unsupervised compounding of aseptic products such as cytotoxic chemotherapySpecial delivery systems and clinical trials
  • To work closely with the Quality Assurance Unit to ensure compliance with GMP and maintain standards
  • oTo undertake day to day housekeeping tasks and other basic duties
