Job summary

Opportunity to join CONTACT - the Staff Counselling, Stress Management, Conflict Resolution and Trauma Support Service for Imperial College Healthcare Trust, based at 3 major hospital sites: Charing Cross, Hammersmith and St. Mary's. CONTACT is a comprehensive in house support service for staff at all levels of the Trust.You will be a BACP/UKCP/BPS accredited practitioner with substantial experience of a wide range of clients and time-limited work. You will have substantial knowledge and experience of work-place counselling, related research and the challenges and ethical dilemmas presented in this area of work. In addition you must have group facilitation, training and supervisory training and experience as well as therapeutic skills to a senior practitioner level. You will be able to work with groups of staff dealing with conflict. And able to support individual and groups of staff experiencing traumatic incidences. Integrated and transcultural approach essential in all areas of work. You will be required to work across the hospital sites.

  • Counselling/psychotherapy training to Diploma/Degree/Master's level
  • BACP/UKCP/BPS registered practitioner (equivalent registration/accreditation)
  • Training in short-term work
  • Training in supervision

  • Training in work with trauma

Desirable

  • Mediator training
