Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, we are seeking someone who has the ability to effectively network and manage stakeholders as well as provide constructive challenge and speak truth to power. You will be a subject matter expert in equity diversity and inclusion, but as key member of our senior management team, also have strong leadership and engagement skills.

We have the support from the top of the organization through our Chief Executive, executive team and wider Board. This role is fundamental to creating innovative approaches to diversity and inclusion which will support not only our work at Imperial, but also working in the North West London Acute Collaborative and across the North West London Integrated Care System.

Main duties of the job
This is a senior management role and its key purpose is:
To create a dynamic workforce EDI culture by bringing together managers, staff, networks, corporate functions (POD, communications, education) to create a strong foundation for EDI strategy in the Trust
To manage relationships at a senior level ensuring excellent communication and working relationships are maintained and relevant information and data is available to demonstrate delivery of EDI work programme
To proactively work in partnership with senior managers and staff networks to develop a Trustwide EDI service and long-term strategy that supports the Trust's business plan and longer term strategic aims
To lead the continuous development of the workforce EDI service, delivering efficiencies and delivering on the EDI strategy
To act as the subject matter expert for interpreting EDI standards, legislation, ensuring staff, leaders and human resource professionals understand their collective and individual responsibilities
