Job summary
This is a 6 month 10PA locum post, providing Consultant Renal care both at Northwick Park Hospital, Charing Cross Hospital and inpatient on call at Hammersmith Hospital. The Renal Directorate at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust provides full nephrology, dialysis and transplant services to NW London and for patients from elsewhere by tertiary referral. The Directorate has 72 inpatient beds at the Hammersmith Hospital, including a 9-bed HDU allowing admissions for acute transplantation. There is also an 18-bed day-case facility open 5 days a week. The unit performs on average 200 kidney transplants per year and 12 simultaneous kidney/pancreas per year.

This is a 6 months locum post based at Northwick Park Hospital (4 days per week), Charing Cross Hospital (1 day per week) with on call at Hammersmith Hospital. Duties include general nephrology clinic and support for inpatient dialysis service at Northwick Park Hospital, and haemodialysis clinic at Charing Cross Hospital. Oncall rota for this post is based at Hammersmith hospital at a frequency of 1in10 weeks.
