This is an exciting opportunity for a therapy assist to join and become an integral part in the effcient operation of the therepy department in care provided to our patients. You will work closely with our exceptional physiotherapy and occupational therapy teams.
Our friendly department is full of opportunity for a dynamic, enthusiastic therapy assistant who wishes to develope and progress their knowledge and skill and support in the expert, collaborative and aspirational patient care in therapy service at Imperial College and Healthcare NHS Trust.
We are looking for someone who carries the values of Imperial College and Healthcare NHS trust. You will have good communication skills, interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering excellent patient centred care.
As a therapy assistant you will help with the day to day workings of the team and care of the patients and have teaching and training responsibilities. As part of your role you will participate in service development, audits and in-service training. You will have excellent support from your direct line manager and work closely with the well-established multi-disciplinary team.
We offer a comprehensive in-service training and induction programme. Our established appraisal system facilitates career development and progression.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be part of an Integrated Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy service, meeting the needs of a multi-cultural and diverse population. As a Therapy Assistant, they will be responsible for providing high quality therapy support to patients within Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust
