Job summary
We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join the new team offering MRI services in the interim MRI hub located on the grounds of Ealing Hospital. This MRI services will become part of the larger Community Diagnostic Hub being developed within the North West London sector.
This post will provide an excellent opportunity for candidates to build on and develop their clinical skills in MRI, in a relaxed and supportive environment where only outpatients attend. The Hub consists of three 1.5T Siemens Sola scanners and covers a wide range of protocols including contrast scans.
You should enjoy working collaboratively to provide the best possible care for our patients at all times. You will need excellent communication skills and have a flexible approach to work, as participation in extended working hours including evenings and weekends is essential.
This hub service hours will initially operate 5 days a week with a gradual expansion plan for 7 day working.
Main duties of the job
- To assist in the provision of an efficient MRI service.
- To work as part of a professional radiography team providing a high quality diagnostic service.
- To carry out a full range of MRI procedures to the agreed standards of the department.
- To maintain a sensitive and courteous approach to patients.
- To develop and improve professional expertise via continuous professional development.
- To maintain a safe working environment within the MRI department.
- To communicate effectively in order to ensure the smooth running of the service.
