The Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust Neonatal service is one of the largest in the country and consists of two neonatal units. The Neonatal Unit at Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea Hospital is a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Level 3) and the Neonatal Unit at St Mary's Hospital is a Local Neonatal Unit (Level 2 NICU). We are the regional centre for therapeutic hypothermia for North West London. We provide specialist clinical and research services in neonatal and perinatal neurology, cardiology, haematology, respiratory and nutrition.

We invite suitable candidates to apply for Senior Clinical Fellow posts at SpR level (ST4-8 equivalent) in neonatology to gain tertiary medical neonatal experience at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, London starting ASAP or September 2023 or later. The post holder will rotate in Queen Charlotte's & Chelsea hospital and St Mary's Hospital, London.

We pride ourselves in having pioneered the introduction of integrated family delivered care.
Referrals to the Centre for Foetal Care and high risk Obstetric service means many babies with complex problems are admitted to our units. The clinical teams work in close partnership with the Centre for perinatal neurosciences, Imperial College and Centre for Paediatrics and Child Health. There is a high quality educational programme providing daily teaching sessions cross site.

The neonatal SHOs and Registrars work to a full shift rota, which is compliant with New Deal, European Working Time Directive and new junior doctors contract. We actively support continuing personal and professional development through an established online and virtual courses, in-service training and external courses. There are also opportunities to undertake formal postgraduate study. - Able to effectively resuscitate and direct the management of emergencies in a neonatal setting in a calm and controlled manner
