An exciting opportunity has arisen for Paediatric Staff nurse to join our Children's outpatients and Ambulatory Care department at Chelsea & Westminster Foundation Trust.

Children's Outpatients and Ambulatory care department is a fast paced and dynamic clinical environment providing high standards of care to all our patients and their families. You will enjoy a challenging varied pace and an exciting working environment, caring for a varied paediatric workload. The role will be to provide high quality care to patients, ensuring patient safety and supporting the patients and their carers throughout their outpatient journey.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Band 5 to work in Children's Outpatients and Ambulatory Care department. Applicants need to have excellent communication skills, positive personality and a professional approach to their work. You must be able to deal with the public in a sensitive and polite manner, be flexible in their approach to duties of work, act as part of a team, and promote good teamwork.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will require paediatric clinical experience, provide sound clinical expertise, and coordinate and deliver high quality care. They will role model the identified Trust values at all times.

In general settings, they will be carrying out clinical duties, working as part of a wider Multidisciplinary team, being a role model for team members, sharing knowledge and experience and guiding students, whilst delivering and overseeing high standards of care.
