Ideal Candidate:
You should be a passionate and dedicated midwife with a strong commitment to midwife-led care, excellent communication skills, and a desire to create positive birth experiences for women. Your ability to work collaboratively in a supportive team environment is essential to thriving in this role.
Main duties of the job
As a Band 6 Midwife, within our esteemed midwife-led team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, individualised care to expectant women, birthing people and their families throughout their pregnancy, labour, and postpartum journey.
Our focus on a continuity of care model enables you to foster meaningful relationships with the women you support, ensuring a positive and empowering birth experience with reduced risk of intervention. This position allows for a commitment to physiological birth practices without the demands of on-call duties, providing flexibility in your work schedule.
You will collaborate closely with our outstanding obstetric consultants and wider MDT to ensure the highest standard of safe, gold-standard care for our patients.
Please note: Will require weekend and night shifts
