Job summary

We are holding a recruitment day for newly qualified preceptor and experienced midwives for both Chelsea & Westminster NHS Trust sites.

If shortlisted you should be available to attend for our recruitment interviews on 25th November 2023 at our West Middlesex University Hospital Site

What to expect on the day:

  • Meet our Midwives and Practice Development Team and find out how we can support you develop your skills and career pathway. Find out about our different specialties.
  • Interview and skills station on the day.

Main duties of the job

  • Provide high quality clinical care to patients, in line with the Trust values and in accordance with professional regulations. Accept delegated responsibility for specific activities/areas from the senior nurse in charge Work in line with Trust policies, objectives, protocols and local guidelines, whilst also being aware of the importance of their role in supporting members of the team, and always adhering to the Trust values, and in accordance with NMC regulations.
  • Work autonomously and with others to always deliver high standards of care to patients and their carers autonomously and as part of a team. Communicate in line with Trust values, to patients, carers and staff at all times.
  • Take every opportunity to continue to develop, practice and expand their own general and specialist nursing skills.
  • Maintain high standards of professional and ethical responsibility, and accountability and be aware of the medico-legal aspects of nursing, in line with professional, regulating and local guidance.
