HCPC registered with minimum 12months acute clinical experience
Min grade value is£40,701. Max grade value is£48,054.
Main duties of the job
- provide dietetic care for the stroke rehab and senior health ward
- manage complex enterally fed patients
- ensure safe and timely discharge of tube fed patients
- attend MDT meetings
- provide supervision to a band 5 dietitian
- teaching and support to students on placement.
- provide ongoing education to wards.
- keep up to date CPD

The post holder will be a clearly identifiable senior clinical staff member. They will have clinical dietetic experience in the management of enterally fed patients as well as a grounding in oral nutritional support.
The role will include the stroke ward and senior health ward. You will be expected to cover outpatients clinics in periods of annual leave/ sickness.
They will be a role model for expert clinical care, and lead on specific projects / service developments and management functions as delegated by the Band 7 Dietitian or Clinical Lead Dietitian. They will role model the identified Trust values at all times.
