You'll be at the heart of a specialist service that plays a key role in women's health and paediatrics. Your clinical insight will directly influence the safe, effective and evidence-based use of medicines across the Directorate.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide and manage pharmaceutical services to the Women & Children Directorate in accordance with the needs of the Division. Along with working with senior clinicians on determining medicines related cost pressures for the Women & Children Directorate. The post holder will also monitor and review prescribing practice within the Women & Children Directorate and to work with clinicians to ensure effective, safe, evidence based and cost effective prescribing.
