Main duties of the job

As a Nuclear Medicine Administrator Lead, your primary responsibilities will revolve around ensuring operational excellence and administrative support to the Nuclear Medicine team. The role encompasses a broad spectrum of duties including comprehensive management of patient data, scheduling and coordination of appointments, and assisting with the meticulous management of medical supplies and inventories.

  • Appointment Scheduling:Book and ensure the smooth running of clinics while liaising with consultants and specialty coordinators. This involves rescheduling appointments for various Nuclear Medicine scans and managing waiting lists to ensure patients are seen within specified time frames.
  • Patient Communication:Inform patients about protocols regarding various scan types and manage communication regarding appointment details and preparations.

Inventory and Stock Management:

  • Supplies Coordination:Manage inventory and ensure the availability of necessary supplies and materials for the department. This includes monitoring stock levels, ordering inventory, and pre-planning radiopharmacy orders to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
