Job summary

This is a senior management role, and its key purpose is to:o Lead medical education, learning and development, including apprenticeship, vocational training and lifelong learning, core skills training, digital training across the three Trusts, Chelsea & Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust (ie: "Tri-Trust").o Bring together a coherent and comprehensive offer for Learning and Development issues across the Tri-Trust, developing and implementing strategy and policy and ensuring that all staff develop the knowledge, skills and competence to achieve the Trust's strategic and operational objectives.

Main duties of the job

The responsibilities in section 1 to 6 are shared across the Tri-Trust (Chelsea & Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust).1. Learning & DevelopmentLead and coordinate a comprehensive learning offer across all levels of the Tri-Trust.

2. ApprenticeshipsMaximise use of the apprenticeship levy to provide diverse development opportunities for staff.3. Widening ParticipationSupport initiatives that encourage young people to pursue NHS careers.4. Core Skills/Mandatory TrainingEnsure full compliance in mandatory training across the Tri-Trust through efficient, high-quality delivery.5. Digital InfrastructureDesign and implement digital systems, including a learning management system, to support learning.6. Team Leadership & ResourcesLead the learning, apprenticeship, medical education*, and core skills teams to deliver a high-performing, customer-focused service.Please refer to the job description for further details.
