Job summary

Join Imperial College Health Partners as our Associate Director of Strategy and Insight and contribute to delivering on our mission to improve population health in North West London through innovation.

Main duties of the job

As an Associate Director at ICHP, you are a critical part of the Senior Management Team, providing leadership to the overall organisation. You are accountable for the directorate comprised of eight staff, comprised of individuals with both specialist and generalist skills. You will lead on key system relationships related to Strategy and Insight e.g. NWL ARC, NWL ICB Strategy Team. You have overall accountability for the development our the Strategy and Insight components of our ICHP Toolbox.

You will have a key role in providing in enabling the implementation and uptake of innovation and transformation across the healthcare system, being at the forefront of the delivery of mission and non-mission programmes.

For this recruitment round, given the composition of the team, we are particularly interested in strategic candidates who lead with and posses an excellent quantitative skillset, but recognise the power of qualitative insights.

  • Masters, PhD, or equivalent experience (especially within the health sector)
  • Prince2 or equivalent experience for the management of complex projects
  • Experience in delivering complex healthcare-related improvement projects and programmes, and working alongside senior clinical and operational professionals

  • Experience of working at a senior level in health service, local authority, academic, or related field
  • Proven experience of establishing and leading on national strategic work in relation to policy development, operations, and systems
