Senior Capital Project Manager, Band 8b
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Senior Capital Projects Manager to join the dynamic Capital Estates Team at Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust.
The Trust has a significant capital development programme including the large scale Ambulatory Diagnostic Centre (ADC) at the West Middlesex site and the Treatment Centre redevelopment at the Chelsea site and are looking for a highly motivated, ambitious individual to join the team. You should be an experienced and dynamic senior project manager capable of leading complex projects and be able to operate in fast paced environments. You will take a lead on the Trust's £70M flagship ADC Development, based at the West Middlesex site which is currently at the main contractor procurement stage

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be a key member of the Project Team and will have an important role in ensuring delivery of a high quality capital project. Be professionally accountable for estates project construction and implementation of delegated Schemes within the Trust's Investment Programme to improve the environment for patients and staff.
The post holder is the lead specialist responsible for long term planning, preparing and managing the Estates capital project under the Our Capital Project Programme at various stages from writing, briefing to completion of the Business Case process. To ensure that they are completed in an efficient and effective manner, within programme timeframes and to provide the highest possible standards of Business Case delivery within the resources allocated, ensuring statutory compliance.

- Educated to: A BSc, BA MA Degree in Engineering or a Construction discipline or Or A BSc or BA (as above) with demonstrable extensive Senior Management Experience in a similar organisation. Or a BSc or BA (as above) with Membership of a professional institution such as RICS, RIBA, CIBSE, CIOB or relevant experience with equivalent qualification.
- Membership of a professional institution such as RICS, RIBA, CIBSE, CIOB.
- Relevant training in specialist building or engineering subject, (HTM's and HBNs, etc.)
