Job summary

We are looking for a dynamic, strategic and values-driven leader to provide 12-months maternity cover as the Associate Director of Innovation & Design, and the senior leader for the ICS's Long Term Conditions Innovation Mission.

The successful candidate will have significant experience providing senior leadership of innovation and transformation portfolios relating to Primary Care, Long Term Conditions and Cardiovascular Disease.

Main duties of the job

ICHP is a not-for-profit organisation established by its constituent NHS and academic members to improve population health. We do this by supporting partners to understand complex problems, to innovate, and to implement new approaches that have the potential to improve patient care.

About us

As the Innovation Partner of the NW London Integrated Care System (ICS), and the designated Academic Health Science Network, we are fortunate to be part of the thriving research and innovation (R&I) ecosystem in NW London. Within our ICS, three priority 'missions' have been identified as areas well suited to benefit from research and innovation. This role provides senior leadership for the Innovation Long Term Conditions Mission (which has an initial focus cardiovascular disease).

The role requires excellent problem definition, scoping and planning, research and analysis, and project management; alongside the ability to generate and sustain trusting relationships with partners and colleagues, and to encourage reflection and learning (individually and with others). The role also includes active leadership in the development and culture of ICHP as an organisation, sharing responsibility for making ICHP a great place to work, and taking a specific managerial responsibility for the development and growth of colleagues and teams, and for the development and growth of the organisation in general.
