Job summary

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced leader to join the Digital Operations Team at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital Foundation Trust.

As the Digital Change Manager, you will provide a senior leadership role, assisting the Digital General Manager in the successful delivery and implementation of the Trust's Digital Transformation and Innovation programme, prioritising improvements the digital culture of the organisation and uptake of digital systems at the Trust. You will be involved in co-designing, leading and managing a programme of works to conduct transformational activities to successfully implement, optimise and embed digital systems and technologies across the Programme to achieve and realise digital objectives, outcomes and benefits

Main duties of the job

Enabling, supporting, and contributing to the overall success of the Digital Transformation and Innovation Programme and digital utilisation underpinning the Trust strategy and achieving objectives within your specialist area.

Applying your detailed knowledge and experience of previous NHS involvement to implement strategies for change, transformation, training, communication, and benefits realisation management, contributing to successful Digital Transformation implementation aligned to your industry standard knowledge.

Taking ownership and responsibility for ensuring the planning and conduct of appropriate change management activities are undertaken, ensuring project outcomes are achieved and benefits realised. Working closely with stakeholders to ensure minimal disruption to services throughout the project lifecycle and gaining efficient and effective transformational change and return on investment.

Building effective working relationships with Stakeholders at all levels, listening, influencing and facilitating to build positive and effective working relationships to ensure the change management approach is consistently applied throughout the Trust to build solutions together, which are effective and fit for purpose, enabling the development of digitally mature clinical services.

  • Take a proactive and full role as a key senior member of the Digital Operations Team

  • Post graduate management qualification or equivalent (i.e. professional courses or robust management experience)
  • Change Management qualification, APMG Change Practitioner or equivalent experience

Desirable

  • Benefits Management qualification, APMG Benefits Practitioner or equivalent
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Visio

Experience

Essential

  • Extensive experience of working within NHS organisations or equivalent
  • Significant experience managing and leading teams in digital transformation
  • Experience of working within a project environment, specifically responsible for conducting change and benefits management activities (including risk and impact assessments, options appraisals, optimisation plans etc.)
  • Significant digital transformation and change
  • Experience of managing complex transformation and change with a focus on implementing successful digital solutions within a healthcare provider environment
