Job summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Compliance & Contracts Specialist Manager to provide operational assurance across Estates and Facilities services. The postholder will manage a defined portfolio of estates and specialist service contracts, ensuring compliance with statutory legislation, NHS Health Technical Memoranda and contractual requirements, while supporting performance monitoring, audit readiness and effective governance across the Trust estate.

Key duties include managing a defined portfolio of estates and specialist service contracts, monitoring contractor performance, maintaining robust compliance evidence, supporting audit readiness, and working closely with Estates, Procurement and service providers to address risks, performance issues and service improvement opportunities.

- Sound working knowledge of statutory and legal requirements affecting NHS estates and facilities, including the application of these requirements to contracted and in house services.
Experience

- Demonstrable experience of working with CAFM systems (e.g. IDOX, Maximo, MRI or equivalent) to support planned preventive maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, compliance recording, and performance reporting.
- Experience of supporting estates or facilities contracted service provision, including monitoring contractor performance, compliance activity, and service delivery against contractual requirements.
- Experience of working within an estates, compliance, facilities, or engineering environment in a complex organisation, ideally within healthcare or a similarly regulated sector.
- Experience of reviewing and analysing service performance, compliance evidence, and maintenance data to support assurance, audit readiness, and service improvement activity.
