Job summary
- To work with the CNIO and other DCNIO's in partner organisations to optimise the electronic patient record in a way that supports the delivery of high quality and cost effective pathways and services.
- Ensure clinical adoption and engagement in the use of technology, particularly amongst the nursing and midwifery workforce.
- Assists in the management of business cases and finance in digital nursing across the North West London Integrated Care System.
- Develop clinical information systems that support the delivery of nursing and how this is reflected in the electronic patient record.
- Assists in continued monitoring of patient experience and harm free care by ward teams.
- Provide professional and digital health leadership alongside the CNIO for nursing and midwifery staff at the Trust.
Main duties of the job
Responsibility:
- Provide digital expertise to lead nurses in the clinical divisions across the Trust.
- Lead on projects assigned by the CNIO to optimise the delivery of the electronic patient record
- Propose enhancements to the electronic patient record based on investigations and incidents that have occurred at the Trust.
- Represent digital nursing at Trust meetings.
