This is an exciting opportunity to join an established team of Nurses and Midwives working within a 16 bedded private maternity unit to deliver gold standard care to women with a variety of obstetric risk factors.

We are looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic nurse, to provide high quality recovery care to our obstetric patients post elective caesarean surgery and during cervical suture insertion. There will also be the expectation to care for general antenatal and postnatal patients alongside the Midwifery team, providing infant feeding support and supporting all the family to have the best experience possible.
Main duties of the job
- Make assessments of care needs, formulate, implement and evaluate a programme of care using the nursing model for the area.
- Be designated to take charge of in the absence of the person with continuing responsibility or their deputy and support the recovery team.
- Maintain standards of high quality, safe care whilst considering the ultimate positive patient experience.
- Consider the customer service aspects of patient care for those on the private maternity journey.
