Job summary
The main duties of the post will be to assist in clinics and elective theatres. It is intended to offer appointees, where possible, equivalent opportunities for personal development as a SpR, i.e. a study leave entitlement and allocated study leave budget. The post includes standard annual leave allowances. The appointment must be at level ST 6 or above. The post would also suitable for a post CCT fellow.
Main duties of the job
- This one year appointment will facilitate delivery of blocks of immersion training in colonoscopy for four colorectal SpRs (3 on Chelsea site and 1 on West Middlesex site) every six months.
- The successful candidate will backfill daytime clinical commitments for approximately 16 out of a possible 26 weeks (to allow immersion training of 4 colorectal SpRs per 6 months delivered in 2 x 2 week blocks).
