Job summary
Applications are invited for an initial 6 month fixed term locum post to work in the Department of Hand and Wrist Surgery. We seek an enthusiastic Orthopaedic Surgeon to cover a period of extended leave. The Department of Hand Surgery is based within the Department of Plastic Surgery. A regular on-call commitment will compose part of the job plan.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for covering hand trauma and elective commitments as detailed below. They will take part in departmental teaching, training, governance and performance.
The post holder must be medically qualified and maintain GMC specialist registration.
Adhere to the Trust Customer Service Commitment and adopt a professional approach to customer care at all times.
Develop clinical practice through self-reflection and learning from experience, application of research into practice and active contribution within the multi-disciplinary team.
