Job summary

Senior Clinical Fellow in Genitourinary Medicine and HIV

We are looking to recruit 2 motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our respective teams for 12 month fixed term roles as Senior Clinical Fellows in HIV/GUM.

Working flexibly the post holders will ensure that they provide a patient focused service at all times

We are looking for Dr's who are motivated, enthusiastic and who possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team across innovative HIV and sexual health services.

One post is primarily based at St Stephen's Centre which is located at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust acute site.

Please note that the second post is split between West Middlesex University Hospital (2 days/ week) and John Hunter Clinic +/- Kobler Clinic

Main duties of the job

The post-holders will deliver GUM and HIV services as per below

One post is primarily based at St Stephen's Centre which is located at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust acute site.

Please note that the second post is split between West Middlesex University Hospital (2 days/ week) and John Hunter Clinic +/- Kobler Clinic (3 days a week)

Both clinics provides care for a diverse population encompassing routine and specialist HIV/GUM and contraception delivery.

The post-holder will gain an excellent foundation in the field, within a supportive, educational environment. There is an option for the post-holders to cover on-calls on the Ron Johnson Ward (HIV inpatient rota) and the post-holder will be required to do evening clinics.

Successful applicants will be assigned an educational supervisor. Although the post is not educationally approved, the post-holder will have access to the same departmental educational sessions as their counterparts in approved training programmes. The possession of MRCP is not an essential requirement of these appointments.Clinical Fellows are encouraged to involve themselves in audit and research projects.
