Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced suitably qualified HCPC registered Band 7 Specialist Biomedical Scientist to cover Maternity leave to join a dynamic workforce within the Specialist Coagulation Laboratory of Blood Sciences. Working as part of the team you will contribute to the provision and further development of this high-quality specialist service.
The successful candidate will be primarily based at The Royal Liverpool site but will be expected to support coagulation at other sites to meet the demands of the service. They will be required to work outside of routine working hours to meet the demands of the service where necessary.
You should have a high level of analytical and technical skill, including statistical analysis. They should have considerable and up to date knowledge of current practices and advances in Haematology, with specific experience in Haemostasis and Thrombosis desirable.

You will be required to work outside routine hours as required. You will have a high level of analytical and technical skill, including statistical and quality analysis, and up-to-date knowledge of current practice and advances in Haematology. Experience in Haemostasis and Thrombosis is expected.
