Job summary
In the Acute Medical Unit the Band 2 HCA will be responsible for supporting nursing staff within AMU
You will need to be dynamic and enthusiastic in your role, as the AMU is fast paced and is faced with new challenges every day.

Main duties of the job
The band 2 HCA is a key member of the Acute Medical Team. You will provide a high standard of basic nursing care to enhance the patient journey through the department.
You will work closely with the nursing staff across the emergency floor.
You will also be responsible for general housekeeping duties, and stocking of equipment throughout the emergency department.
