An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic, motivated team of renal nurses who deliver a high standard of specialist care at the Renal Dialysis Unit at Royal Liverpool University Hospital

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled renal nurse to develop leadership experience while delivering high-quality, patient centred care in a fast paced and supportive environment.

We require a nurse with substantive haemodialysis experience, with a post registration qualification in renal nursing and be in possession of a recognized mentorship course or qualification.

The successful candidate will support the Manager to maintain standards , assist with staff management and the provision of excellent patient care and outcomes

Main duties of the job

Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients receiving haemodialysis.

Act as nurse in charge in the absence of the Ward Manager.

Provide clinical leadership and support band to band 5 nurses and support staff.

Participate in audits, quality improvement initiatives, and service development.

Support education, mentorship, and preceptorship within the dialysis unit.

Contribute to roster coordination and daily operational management

Ensure compliance with infection prevention, safeguarding, and clinical governance standards.
