Job summary
Liverpool University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust wishes to appoint a Consultant Geriatrician with a specialist interest in movement disorders, primarily based at its Aintree Site (full time 10PA + on call). Applications for less than full time working will be considered.
We are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic individuals to expand and develop the movement disorder service.
Main duties of the job
General:
- The post holder will work alongside other geriatricians to develop innovative 7 day services for older people, both within the hospitals and community.
- They will work with colleagues across sites to develop a seamless, equitable service.
Movement Disorder/Parkinson's disease
- The successful applicant will be expected to work alongside the other movement disorder consultant and clinical nurse specialist to improve the care movement disorder patients get in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.
- They will participate in outpatient movement disorder clinics, both new diagnosis and long term follow up.
