An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the dermatology outpatients team in Broadgreen hospital.

The successful candidate will be keen to expand their role and continue personal and professional development.

They will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Main duties of the job

To oversee both general dermatology clinics and urgent skin cancer clinics supporting the patients and clinicians

To provide nursing support to our specialist services within dermatology outpatients clinics including the dressing clinic, phototherapy and patch testing. Conducting various dermatology assessments and diagnostic tests.

you need to be able to demonstrate good,effective communication skills,to be caring and hardworking professional individual and to be committed to working in a busy and often challenging environment and assist the team in delivering excellent patient care.

To support the move to 3 sessional working to enable the clinic to offer evening appointments for clinics and surgery to patients

  • Registered Nurse, current NMC registration
  • BSc in Nursing (Diploma in Nursing as a minimum)

  • Practice Assessor/Practice Supervisor Training
  • Post registration qualification in relevant specialty

Experience

  • Recent clinical nursing experience as a student or as a registered nurse

Desirable

  • Experience within relevant clinical setting
  • Evidence of maintaining a clinical learning environment
  • Evidence of working with learners

Knowledge
