This position is based in the Royal Liverpool Hospital and is part of the retail facilities that are onsite.
The post will be based in the Royal Liverpool Hospital but with the expectation if the possibility arises to support other sites Broadgreen & Aintree Hospital.
This position is retail based but with expectation to support at ward level with patient feeding if required.

Main duties of the job
The following Catering Assistant band 2 vacancy has become available at The Royal Liverpool hospital
Varying hours working as a worker for all retail outlets, hours to be utilised per business requirement.
Involved in the preparation and service of meals to patients, Staff & Visitors.
Required to undertake a wide range of cleaning and monitoring duties associated with maintaining food hygiene within the main kitchens, ward kitchens, dining room and coffee shops.
Ensuring that at all time a high quality service provision is offered, maintaining trust values.
We are looking for staff who are self motivated and can work in a team or on their own unsupervised. You will be working in a busy hospital and can be moved as the needs of the service requires, also you may be required to work Bank holidays including Christmas Day. Although training will be given for all positions, a good knowledge of catering is required.
This is an exciting opportunity but the successful candidate needs to be flexible.
This post requires previous catering experience, including cooking snacks and front of house service
