Job summary
We are looking for an exceptional and dynamic person who has considerable experience at a senior level to provide effective leadership, staff management and a broad range of administrative assistance to a busy Pharmacy Services working across the Liverpool University Hospital Foundation Trust (LUHFT) sites.
The successful candidate must be organised, highly experienced in meetings management and the ability to train others, be able to develop and implement systems of work, working to tight deadlines, must have a high level of competency of Microsoft computer packages, excellent interpersonal skills and must be methodical with attention to detail.
As the leader of a friendly and forward-thinking administration team you will contribute to the high standard of work that we provide to the Pharmacy Department and support the department in maintaining its strong track record.
This is a cross site post between the LUHFT sites. Travel between Interview sites will be required using the Trust's inter-site transport.
Main duties of the job
The Senior Office Manager will provide a comprehensive senior leadership, staff management and lead the administrative service.
The postholder will have the overall management of the administrative responsibilities of a busy Pharmacy Department, with duties including management of information systems, allocation of administrative tasks, manage the annual leave for the admin and clerical team, manage the appraisal reviews and personal development plans. They must ensure that the sickness policy is managed robustly, along with all recruitment processes.
