An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Band 6 Anaesthetic Practitioner at Sefton Suite Private Patient Unit based within the grounds of Aintree University Hospital Trust for a HCPC/NMC registered ODP/RN with anaesthetic qualification to join the theatre team.
We have 1 operating theatre covering a wide range of major specialities, including: General, Urology, Breast, Endocrine, Upper G I, Colorectal, Orthopaedics, Head & Neck & Cosmetics to name a few. We are excited to welcome an experienced anaesthetic practitioner to our team.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic individual who is looking to further their career and embrace a peri-operative role with a commitment to deliver the best possible outcomes for our patients within our busy theatre. The successful applicant will work within the theatres team in anaesthetics. There would be opportunity to rotate within the disciplines and this would be supported by the theatre team.
Anaesthetic Practitioner applicants must be aware that shift patterns may include evenings and weekends. You may also be required to participate in an on call rota - this will be dependent on service needs.
Main duties of the job
Sefton Suite Private Patient Unit is based within the grounds of Aintree Hospital. Sefton Suite is part of the University Hospital of Liverpool Group (UHLG). We also have a dedicated Outpatient and Diagnostic Centre based in Crosby.
Sefton Suite operates on patients from all over the northwest and beyond. We have a team of very experienced consultants, and full access to all the services and facilities on the grounds of Aintree Hospital.
